According to CNET.com, a recent study was conducted by JumpTap that shows people who play Words  with Friends are likely to make more money than Angry Birds players, who tend to skew more Republican.

Words with Friends players were more likely to have an average annual income over $ 100,000 and tend to use smartphones. Angry Birds players, meanwhile, are more likely Republican and were twice as likely to be on a tablet as the average mobile user, according to JumpTap.

These characteristics help a company like JumpTap deliver more relevant advertisements to consumers on their mobile devices.

Angry Birds continues to take advantage of its tremendous popularity as Rovio, the maker of Angry Birds, plans to release 5 new versions of the game in 2012. The next game to hit Apps Stores will be Angry Birds Space. The release date for Angry Birds Space is March 22, 2012.

Not only will Angry Birds Space feature a new setting for the game to take place in, but the game will also incorporate the gravity of space into its gameplay. You’ll also have to bend the trajectory of the angry birds around planetoids.
